task related duties as required to achieve the departments monthly and yearly targets.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Accounting Assistant I provides timely support to the Finance Department in discharging project and task related duties as required to achieve the departments monthly and yearly targets.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Supporting role to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Management of Fixed Asset Register, inclusive of Asset Verification and tagging of new assets
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations
• Fleet Card Administration
• Coordinate external storage of company files.
• Perform any other finance related duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• ACCA level 1 or FIA completion
• 3+ years accounting experience.
• Experience in Management of Fixed Asset
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Sage
