Role Summary

• Join a high-performing Revenue Accounting team focused on marketplace partner and reseller business activities.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and partner cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Maintain billing accuracy and support SOX compliance for partner-related financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Partner Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Cost Analysis

• Analyze monthly COGS and margin trends for marketplace and reseller agreements.
• Ensure alignment of revenue and cost with Finance and Partner teams.
• Review vendor billing logic against usage data, tiered pricing, and contract terms.

Billing Integrity & Audit Readiness

• Conduct contract-level billing reviews to ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Track commercial terms, billing schedules, and contract anomalies.
• Maintain audit trails and support SOX control testing and documentation.

Data Management & Reporting

• Extract and validate billing and usage data from ERP, CRM, and partner systems.
• Use Excel for data modeling, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Develop dashboards to monitor COGS, billing discrepancies, and contract compliance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Assist with contract setup and billing validation processes.
• Work with Deal Desk and Legal to resolve contract interpretation issues.
• Escalate pricing or contract execution discrepancies to Accounting leadership.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, revenue operations, or audit.
• Familiarity with SaaS revenue models, usage-based pricing, or partner ecosystems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606, especially in multi-element arrangements.
• Experience in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
• High attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
• Strong communication skills for documenting procedures and results.
