About the Role

As the Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing the financial health and operational efficiency of the practice. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage supply chain finances, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger

• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

• Establish and manage processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory control

• Handle daily billing, patient invoicing, insurance claims, and collections

• Reconcile lab testing invoices and resolve discrepancies

• Assist with budgeting and financial planning

• Liaise with external financial consultants

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and financial information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting (healthcare experience preferred)

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

• Experience with medical billing and insurance claims

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations
