BRIJ International Distributors Limited, located in Kingston, Jamaica, seeks the service of a qualified and competent individual for the position of:  

 ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the organization’s accounts receivable and payable portfolio
• Preparation of monthly/ annual reports to ensure organizational stability, compliance and growth
• Co-ordination and management of annual audit exercise
• Managing, Mentoring and Coaching of Team Members
• Management of operational activities to improve revenue collections, reduce wastage and strengthen productivity

   Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts as well as professional training preferably ACCA level 3
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with at least 3 years working at a supervisory level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Very high level of confidentiality
• Good organizational skills
• Proficient in the use of accounting software preferably Sage as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
