The Enterprise is seeking a detail-oriented and ethical Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by providing accurate and timely financial information.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

General Ledger & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Perform account reconciliations (e.g., bank statements, balance sheet accounts).
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable; manage invoicing and collections.
  • Process payroll related journal entries.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Compliance & Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other applicable rules and regulations.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing by providing necessary schedules and reports to our external Auditors and Related Party.
  • Stay current with changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of accounting software systems..

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA Level 2 or 3
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, Staff Accountant, or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
