Accountant

Collins Limited, a dynamic distribution, manufacturing and retail Company, is seeking to employ a highly driven, detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions across the group of companies including managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conducting regular financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and company regulations and reporting requirements.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies.
• Supervising the Accounting team.

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field. 
• Relevant and current certified accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.
• At least 2-3 years post qualification experience in accounting.
• Must possess excellent leadership, problem solving, communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word and other relevant accounting software.
• Excellent knowledge of statutory financial regulations and requirements.
• Well organized and efficient, decisive, analytical, and able to articulate well; must possess the ability to work well with people.
