Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk with strong experience in bank reconciliations and payroll processing. The ideal candidate should be organized, accurate, and capable of handling multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Process and manage payroll in compliance with statutory requirements (NIS, NHT, PAYE, etc.)

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and general ledgers

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in QuickBooks and Excel

  • Post transactions including accounts payable and receivable entries

  • Support audits and other statutory reporting requirements

  • Perform other related administrative and accounting tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, with proven exposure to bank reconciliations and payroll

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related field (Bachelor’s Degree is an asset)
  • ACCA Level I 
  • Proven experience as an Accountant Clerk.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g QuickBooks) and inventory management systems.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
