Job Summary: This position has the primary responsibility for growing the loan portfolio through direct sales of various lending products of the company.

 KeyDuties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers
  • Source and work customer referrals
  • Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
  • Consults with customers about their financing needs to help them achieve their business goals, including the collection and analysis of information about the client's financial situation
  • Advise potential customers about the risks, consequences, and benefits of alternative financing solutions based on your analysis
  • Prepare Internal Management Proposals clearly explaining the need, proposed financing structure and risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist the Credit Analysis from time to time with the completion of loan applications where necessary
  • Collect all information and documentation required to complete loan applications;
  • Rejects loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants
  • Ensure that the sales funnel and all other sales reports are promptly updated and maintained at all times
  • Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value
  • Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team
  • Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review
  • Cross-sell other Company's products or refer to appropriate Unit when necessary

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent qualification would be an asset
  • Minimum 5 CSEC/O'Levels (Inclusive of Math and English - min Grade 2)
  • Minimum 2 CAPE/A'Levels
  • Relevant, practical experience in the area of sales
  • Experience with a CRM platform would be a plus

 

Knowledge, Training, Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Sales environment where performance has been at least at the expected level.
