Applications are invited from qualified persons for the position of Account Executive in our Pensions Administration Department.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Driving the growth of the company’s pension administration and investment management services.
  • Increasing pension assets under management by pulling in new Super-Annuation Funds and garnering new enrollments.
  • Increasing pension plan and approved retirement schemes.
  • Orienting new prospects/customers to do online enrollments, contributions and self-service functions.
  • Communicating and interacting with executives of organisations, senior managers, pension trustees, human resource officers and key decision makers.
  • Promoting the value propositions of the company’s pension products and the company’s prowess as a pension provider.
  • Creating awareness of the incentive programme(s) designed to raise potential customers’ engagement levels.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance or Accounting or comparable equivalent
  • Securities Dealer certification
  • Prior experience as a business development officer for pension funds and approved retirement schemes is a distinct advantage or 2 years’ experience in sales
  • Sound knowledge of the Pensions Act (Superannuation Funds and Retirement Schemes) Act and the accompanying Regulations
  •  Working knowledge of Income Tax legislation affecting Superannuation Funds & Retirement Schemes
  • Working knowledge of the Investment Markets (Stock, Money, Real Estate and Fixed Income markets)
  • Knowledge of actuarial principles governing Superannuation Funds and Retirement Schemes.
  • Advanced selling, networking, public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong aptitude for business development
  • Good judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must possess a valid driver’s licence for at least 2 years and a reliable motor car
  • Required to travel island wide
