ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTS PAYABLES

Continental Baking Company Limited is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant – Accounts Payables, who will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payables function.

The Assistant Accountant – Accounts Payables will also provide general support to the preparation of the Company’s monthly financial reports and statements.

Core Functions

• Manage the accounts payables function (local and foreign suppliers).
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, as well as of the accounts payables sub-ledger with General Ledger.
• Ensure monthly expenses are captured via the accrual process and monthly journals are posted in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the timely preparation and filing of statutory returns in accordance with government regulations.
• Responsible for the analysis of assigned General Ledger accounts within the specified time.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, monthly financial reporting and analysis and external audit process.
• Maintain proper documentation, record keeping and support for financial transactions.
• Provide support to other members of the accounting team, as required.
