The Incumbent has the responsibility for ensuring that all revenue and billing transactions are processed accurately and support the accounting functions of the department.

Job Summary

 The Incumbent has the responsibility for ensuring that all revenue and billing transactions are processed.  The incumbent ensures that all these transactions are carried out in a prudent manner and to ensure that the company’s policies for billing and collections, authorization and lodgments are always adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Deposit cheques and reconcile bank accounts
  2. Prepare quotations and invoices
  3. Prepare daily lodgements
  4. Liaise with AEs to get information on proforma and purchase orders
  5. Make Journal Entries
  6. Assist with collecting outstanding receivables
  7. Assist with payables
  8. Prepare deferred income schedule and reports, and revenue share
  9. Post receipts to verify commission
  10. Prepare AE Revenue & Commission Reports
  11. Monitor Bank Accounts for Deposits and Customer Payments
  12. Prepare ad hoc reports from time to time
  13. Monitor all work in progress
  14. Prepare monthly GCT returns

 Qualifications, Experience, and KSA 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance, and or accounts or ACCA Level III
  • Minimum four (4) years related experience
  • Ability to organize tasks efficiently, think and plan strategically and creatively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, persuasive communicator with sound business acumen
  • Keen eye for details, strong reconciliation skills
  • Computer literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Capable of working under pressure and to specific timelines
  • Experience/training in fraud detection an asset
  • Dynamic, flexible and willing
