Drive business growth through customer acquisition and retention while promoting high-end analytical laboratory equipment across Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean. Provide technical and application support, demonstrate strong work ethics, and support market expansion initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, develops and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.

  • Presents the company line of products to clients with the aim of making sales and also follows up on referrals and new leads.

  • Makes telephone calls, visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

  • Negotiates with clients and close deals.

  • Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective customers.

  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

  • Keeps management informed by submitting daily activity sheets and reports.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor Degree in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry, or a combination of training and experience in a similar position.

  • Familiarity in the technical use and applications of high end Analytical Equipment including but not limited to : Chromatography (GC, LC,IC), Molecular Spectroscopy or Elemental/ Inorganic Analysis.

  • A Diploma in Sales or Marketing will be an asset.

  • A minimum of three (3) years working experience in a laboratory.

  • Ability to develop new sales and marketing activities.

  • Superlative analytical abilities, strong business intuition, a passion for problem solving, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours.

  • Must possess a good working vehicle and a valid driver’s permit.
