About Us
KPMG Jamaica’s delivery center, Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), provides critical support to KPMG United States. We’re expanding our Enterprise Security Services team and seeking a forward-thinking AI Security Specialist to help shape the future of secure AI deployment.


Your Role
As an AI Security Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of securing AI systems across diverse deployment models. You’ll conduct technical research, build and test security controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust protection against emerging threats.


What You’ll Do

• ​Develop and refine AI security controls for MaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and various model types (foundation, open-source, self-trained).
• ​Research emerging AI threats and propose mitigation strategies aligned with firmwide security goals.
• ​Build and test proofs-of-concept to validate control effectiveness.
• ​Collaborate across teams to integrate security into workflows and pipelines.
• ​Document and communicate security requirements to internal teams and stakeholders.
• ​Support continuous monitoring and assessment of control efficacy.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• ​Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity, with exposure to AI/ML systems or emerging technologies.
• ​Experience with AI system architectures and cloud/self-hosted deployment models.
• ​Strong grasp of security principles: threat modeling, access control, data protection.
• ​Proficiency in scripting/automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).
• ​Familiarity with GenAI model assessments, adversarial ML, and AI-specific threat vectors.
• ​Exposure to AI regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, Responsible AI).
• ​Hands-on experience with AI platforms (e.g., Hugging Face, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker).
• ​Prior experience in consulting, financial services, or regulated industries preferred.
• ​Certifications such as Security+, GSEC, or AI-specific credentials are a plus.

Special Conditions

• JESS uses a hybrid work model, allowing staff to work from home in Jamaica or in the office. Employees must be in the office at least five days per month, with more days possible if required by business needs.
• ​You are expected to use KPMG-approved Generative AI tools to support your daily work tasks.
• ​Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• ​Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
• ​May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
