ACCOUNTING CLERK (Mandeville Depot)

C.R.A.V.E. Manufacturing and Distribution Ltd., authorized distributor of Continental Baking Company Limited, is seeking to recruit an Accounting Clerk, who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, report generation and recording a wide range of transactions, in support of the preparation of the Company’s financial reports and statements. The ideal candidate plays a critical role in providing basic accounting support for the Centre’s Team.

Core Functions

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation for all activities and transactions at the Centre.
• Monitor accounts receivables and payables, ensuring accurate invoicing and the timely collections from customers and settlement of bills, on behalf of the Centre.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Accounting, Sales and Warehouse teams, to include but not limited to data entry, invoicing, customer payments, statements, imprest system, etc.
• Conduct reconciliations on customer accounts; report any discrepancies found, in adherence with established policies and procedures.
• Support and maintain the integrity of the Company’s accounting system, policies and standard.
• Generate the relevant financial reports and analysis, in a timely basis.
• Ensure full adherence to and compliance with all safety (food and physical), quality, environmental, regulatory standards and protocols.

Minimum Requirement: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Management Studies, Business Administration, Financial Reporting or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
• Expert knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
• Accounting Certification and knowledge of Oracle software would be an asset.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent human relations, communication, time management, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Highly professional, ethical and of integrity.
• Will be required to work on weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
