 (Guyana)

Overall Responsibilities: 

• Servicing of Air Conditioners
• Installation of Air Conditioners
• Repairs of Air Conditioners

The position shall cover the following areas:

Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

1. Review Blueprints.
2. Install air conditioning systems.
3. Test systems for proper functioning.
4. Preforming emergency repairs.
5. Maintain tools.
6. Order and source supplies.
7. Making routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
8. Recording data from routine system inspections.

Reporting Responsibilities:  General Electronics/ITC Hardware Technician

Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibility.

Job Requirements/Specifications:

Education: Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Refrigeration.  

Experience: At least three (3) year previous experience in a similar environment.

Essential Skills:  Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, operate electrical equipment and repair units.

Job Conditions:

Will be spending 30% of time in Giftland 70% required to travel for special projects.

Salaries and Benefits:

Salaries and Benefits are based on Giftland existing salary scheme, and benefits are in accordance with the laws of Guyana and the policies of Giftland. These are all provided for in the Contract of employment.
