1st Party Collections Representative

About the Role:

As a 1st Party Collections Representative, you'll play a vital role in managing delinquent accounts for credit cards, home improvement loans, merchant credit cards, medical accounts, and more. You'll be responsible for contacting customers, providing clear account information, and negotiating payment arrangements that benefit both the customer and the company. You'll need to excel at handling sensitive information and maintaining professionalism, even in challenging conversations.

Requirements:

• Education: 3 or more CXC subjects/ School Leaving Certificate or Heart Trust NTA
• Collections Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in first-party or third-party collections (hardcore sales background may be considered)
• Employment Stability: At least 2 years of consistent employment with no significant gaps or frequent job changes
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English proficiency
• Attention to Detail: Must demonstrate precision and accuracy in account management
• Professional Maturity: Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in all situations
• Strong Work Ethic: Proven track record of reliability and dedication

Schedule:

• Monday - Saturday: 8AM to 5PM or 11AM to 8PM (Based on daylight savings)
• Sundays: CLOSED
• Days off rotate on Sundays and one additional day during the week. 

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $560 up to $660 (attendance based)
