Tobago pharmacy requires trained, experienced pharmacist to manage pharmacy and staff. Medication preparation, dispensing and control. Customer counselling. Control systems, recommendations and reporting.

POSITION: PHARMACIST / TOBAGO
QUALIFICATIONS
-DIPLOMA / b.Sc./Pharm.D. in Pharmacy.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a registered pharmacist.
DUTIES:
Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physicians' orders.
Dispense medications by compounding, packaging and labelling pharmaceuticals.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions.
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals, verifying order entries, charges and inspection.
Provision of interactive pharmaceutical care, support and counselling to patients and caregivers on disease states, disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
Ensure that prescriptions are audited to certify accuracy and best practice at all times.
Reviews internal control systems and makes recommendations.
Responsible for the day to day operations of the pharmacy.
Supervises the pharmacy staff and assists with performance reviews / evaluations of the Pharmacy staff.
Any other duties requested by the Managing Director.
Must be able to work with and direct a team
