JOB SUMMARY
The Mobile Advertising Sales Executive is responsible for growing Digicel's Mobile Advertising revenue and customer base by ensuring that sales targets are met through acquiring new customers from various sectors.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Sales Skill Level
  • Knows how to prospect for new business to feed a pipeline to achieve set target.
  • Knows how to qualify sales opportunities.
  • Knows how to package and present a solution to a typical customer, verbally and/or in writing.
  • Knows how to close a potential sale with a typical customer.
Advertising Product and Service Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of advertisement industry in Trinidad and or elsewhere
  • Knowledge of online and mobile advertising platforms and expertise in digital/mobile ad monetization business models, advertising standards, and technologies would be a distinct advantage
Consultative/Partnership Selling Knowledge and Tools.
  • Understands how to build partnerships with clients.
  • Understands how to identify key business drivers and how to shape solutions that support these.
Pricing
  • Has a thorough understanding of the pricing models that operate in own area and knows how to apply them across a range of situations.
  • Has awareness for potential risks to profitability.
Other
  • Proven track record in delivering on time and to schedule.
  • Works well on own initiatives and creates innovative ideas and strategies to drive the advertising revenues.
  • Ability to effectively operate in dynamic organization & fast-paced environment.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • Degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • At least five (5) years Sales/Account Management experience.
  • Experience in and with the advertising sector would be considered a valuable asset.
  • An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
