The Life Claims Examiner

The Life Claims Examiner is responsible for the evaluation and processing of claims made under the Group and Individual Life contracts

Responsibilities

• Process all Group and Individual Life Claims
• Compose correspondence to claimants, doctors etc, for Life Claims Administrator’s review/approval
• Discuss with Life Claims Administrator all disability claims
• Discuss with Life Claims Administrator or Operations Manager claims to be denied and contentious Claims
• Communicate with customers to explain decisions taken
• Approve claims within stated limits
• Generate Month-End Reports and Adhoc
• File all claims documents
• Assisting in the preparation of Training Documents
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Insurance Industry Experience
• Life Claims Adjudication Experience

education, knowledge AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• 5 CXC or GCE O’ Level passes
• LOMA ACS
• ALHC Certification
• Computer Certification
• Credit Union Knowledge

Contract period - 1 year

SALARY - $5000 - $6500 per month
