OPERATIONS MANAGER – ANTIGUA

Our client is one of the leading microfinance institutions, dedicated to providing high-quality and innovative financial solutions for individuals and micro-enterprises across several markets in the Caribbean.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and executing integrated sales relationships, and credit strategies aligned with the business plan to achieve desired revenue, expense and service goals. Will oversee all functions and staff within the Antigua office and create a warm, welcoming and customer centric environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement strategic plan and deliver superior financial results and best-in-class customer service
  • Monitor and control risks and conduct reviews and audits of the various units
  • Create proactive sales and service environment by maximizing employee productivity
  • Manage key relationships with clients and corporations
  • Develop the loan plan portfolio in a prudent and responsible manner and systematically follow up on non-performing accounts
  • Develop key relationships with clients and corporations
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations in the country and conduct performance reviews

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS Degree in management, banking or related field
  • Minimum 4 years management experience in finance related industry preferred but not essential
  • Entrepreneurial business management orientation, sales planning, strong team-building skills
  • Strong probing, communication, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to effectively resolve complex customer and employee issues
  • Self-starter, team player and highly effective influencing skills
  • Willing to travel throughout the Caribbean region
