Organizations recruitment requests, by providing suitable employees, either by initiating externally or from
within the company’s database.
Areas Of Responsibility:
• Receiving recruitment requisitions via phone or electronic mail
• Responsible for preparing Terms & Conditions.
• Sourcing applicants in a timely manner, using available resources, networking and
headhunting sources based on JD provided.
• Screen applicant resumes for basic compliance with job description and recommend suitable employees for the positions requested.
• Responsible to tracking requisitions – ie following up with organization and employees on the progress of each requisition.
• Schedule and confirm interviews with selected employees based on orgnaizations
recommendations. Responsible for updating all relevant requisition records on closing an assignment.
• Maintain and update organization and employee files
• Responsible for generating status reports for submission to Supervisor
• Liaise with Supervisor on recruitment contracts and proposals
• Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements to Supervisor where necessary
• Responsible for managing any HR issues arising
• Assist in the development of Job Descriptions both internally and externally.
• Suggest proper media for attracting the right calibre employee.
• Design recruitment advertisements for media publication including online and press.
• Cultivate and build relationships with Organizations and Employees in order to maintain
their satisfaction
• Meet with organizations to maintain good standing relationships
• Engaging new Organizations by networking
• Provide support to social media projects
• Assist in Special Projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualifications
• 1-2 years in Recruitment and Selection activities
• Industrial Relations experience an asset
• Marketing and Sales experience an asset
Working knowledge of both oral and written Spanish
