Our Aftersales Support team is currently looking for a talented Technical Support Specialist & Trainer for Barbados who will assist in the running of an efficient service department through achievement of objectives set by the Technical Support and Training Manager.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

 

  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and service departments
  • Develop, facilitate and conduct dealership and internal training with an emphasis on increasing the level of proficiency and customer service within the dealership body.
  • Review technical data, reports, manufacturer requirements and attend manufacturer training.
  • Understand all service systems, fault finding procedures, along with the operation and updating of diagnostic tools and testers to support dealer’s technical requests.
  • Serve as liaison with factory and dealer representatives and maintain good working relationships.
  • Travel throughout the ICI dealer network as required.

 

We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:

 

  • Certificate in automotive engineering technology or other relevant certification
  • 3+ years relevant experience in the automotive service industry
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and techniques an asset
