Responsible for inventory management and control to ensure that supplies are available as needed and for agreement with stock reports. The Storeroom Manager manages procurement, order fulfillment, inventory management, and material distribution, and safeguards the company`s assets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes inventory master list and associated par level.
  • Prepares stock replenishment requests with required supporting documentation.
  • Maintains tracking of the inventory procurement process.
  • Reviews reports weekly and submits documents to senior management.
  • Conducts daily spot-checks to ensure the validity of physical in comparison to system-generated stock levels.
  • Ensures that all material variances are reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • Monitors proper storage and rotation of all items while reducing losses and pilferage.
  • Follows up on requests for exporting materials for repair and/or return, to ensure they are executed on a timely basis utilizing our procedural form.
  • Supports engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates.
  • Leads month-end storeroom inventory audit, ensuring that necessary staff is available for accurate physical count.
  • Assigns department team members and oversees inventory ordering, labeling, stocking, and distributing.
  • Ensures a complete understanding of and adheres to the policies within the employee's handbook.
  • Ensures that the storeroom is organized and maintains all safety standards.
  • Maintains a sound knowledge of the company's facilities and related services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate level/Vocational Training, preferred

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 5 years of formal work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, safety awareness information, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, keep logs, and correspondence.

SOFT SKILL:
  • Ability to Lead and Motivate a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
