Loan Sales Officer

Major Job Duties:

  • Networking with community organizations to obtain referrals and solicit new business opportunities.
  • Conducting marketing and promotional activities in selected communities.
  • Assist with the loan application process.
  • Identify prospective customers and opportunities to sell products and services.
  • Delivering prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous service while maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Acquiring and giving accurate information regarding the organization’s products and services.
  • Taking ownership for all customer enquiries/concerns/complaints that are directed to you by resolving those matters within your discretion to the customer’s satisfaction or referring the customer to an appropriate officer.
  • Developing a personal business plan (daily, weekly, and monthly) and execute it within established time frames.
  • Prioritize tasks and adhere to priorities.
  • Participate in coaching sessions with your direct supervisor
  • Be aware of the competitor’s products, services, and initiatives.
  • Make contact with customers during the loan cycle.
  • Managing the delinquency portfolio by achieving the assigned collections target
  • Developing and managing the company’s loan portfolio by understanding the selling process thereby recognizing and satisfying the customer’s needs.
  • Effectively assess a business and provide crucial financial guidance for long term growth.
  • Responsible for soliciting/contributing to the overall success of the Company by meeting negotiated goals through identification and satisfaction of customer needs.
  • Accountable for the portfolio growth and credit behaviour of the clients.

 Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English Language (written and oral)
  • Must be target driven and willing to work extended hours to achieve the targets assigned
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Open to learn new experiences and adapt quickly to changes within the working environment
  • Flexibility skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Must possess a genuine passion for sales
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Must be team oriented
  • Must be highly self-driven and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Successfully work remotely while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Must be self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Must be organized and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented
  • Must own a reliable motor vehicle
  • Must have SALES experience.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of five (5) C.X.C. subjects including Mathematics or Accounts
  • An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years proven experience in Sales in the Finance sector.
  • Fluency in the languages of target communities and in-depth knowledge of the local communities.

 This position requires occasional travel. The successful candidate will work under various conditions subject to the different elements of nature. The successful candidate is REQUIRED to own a reliable motor vehicle.

Location: Positions available Kingston, Morant Bay, May Pen & Linstead.

Remuneration: Base pay with an opportunity to earn commission
