We are looking for a responsible, dedicated and efficient team player to join the Inventory Team to perform administrative functions.
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for performing administrative duties that directly supports the Inventory Manager and the operations of the Inventory Department and be part of the team responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function. All activities must conform to organizational guidelines and standards and to all legal requirements.
1) Greet and direct visitors, respond to questions, complaints and facilitate other requests.
2) Type memorandums and other correspondence as necessary.
3) Perform basic office tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, sorting mail, maintain and update filing, operating office machines and make arrangements for equipment maintenance and repairs.
4) Plan and prepare for office events, such as meetings and promotional activities.
5) Print and copy documents as necessary.
6) Assist with completing inventory reports when necessary.
7) Order and distribute office supplies to the inventory team.
8) Maintain positive work relationships with all stakeholders.
9) Assist with data entry of inventory transfers, bills, invoices when Inventory Clerks are on leave.
10) Assist with stock taking activities.
Perform other duties related to the job function as may be assigned by Management.
