Human Resource Officer

Our client is seeking to fill the position of an HR Officer who will play a key role in employee relations, HR policies, strategic HR planning, and performance management. The successful candidate will work closely with departments across the company to promote a healthy and engaging work culture.

Human Resource Officer

Location: Port of Spain

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or an equivalent field will be an asset
• 6+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of labour laws of T&T
• Sound knowledge of HR best practices
• Strong ability in using MS Office software or Google Work Space
• Proficient in HRIS (HRp5) or other system

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the administrative aspects of Recruitment, Employee Benefits Administration, Training and Development, Coaching and Discipline and Employee Engagement
• Implement performance management systems and guidelines
• Educate staff on HR policies, processes, and standards
• Handle employee grievances and launch appropriate response plans
