Position: Food & Beverage Operational Assistant

Blue Diamond Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage Operational Assistant. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to grow within our expanding company.

As the Food & Beverage Operational Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage department. This includes overseeing the dining areas, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the management of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available

- Ensure all food and beverage areas are clean, organized, and meet company standards

- Train and supervise staff to ensure exceptional service is provided at all times

- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menus and promotions

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner

- Assist in creating and implementing standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the food and beverage department

- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training of new staff members

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a supervisory or assistant role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership and organizational abilities

- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems

- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
