Trainer/Supervisor

As a Trainer/Supervisor, the incumbent will be required to carry out the training requirements as per client and program specifications. The trainer will act as the facilitator in delivering the training requirements for the organization’s new and existing staff. In this position, the incumbent will be required to stay abreast of the company’s client and program methodologies and needs and ensure successful classroom based training outcomes. 

The Trainer/Supervisor will be required to perform the Following Duties (but not limited to):

• Ensure all learning outcomes (client or program specific)are met by new hires
• Assess participants knowledge, attitudes, and skills
• Assist in increasing effectiveness of existing employees
• Assist in carrying out training needs assessment  and Participate in evaluation and assessments
• Analysis of new hire and developmental training results
• Assist in increasing effectiveness of existing employees

• Coach and develop representatives to address specific areas of focus or performance
• Drive team performance to provide a consistently outstanding customer experience

Applicants Should Have:

• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate participants towards achieving learning outcomes
• Knowledge of training applications and approaches, Training and quality management skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite of tools  and Ability to utilize visual aids
• Ability to communicate with customers at various technical levels orally and written
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to act on own initiative
• Ability to work flexible schedules (including weekends)

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of a two year degree (ASC – Business Administration) or similar qualifications/training from a vocational or recognized  institution
• Certificate in Supervisory Management from a recognized institution would be an asset
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
