The Job:

The Trainee Underwriter
will be required to assess and accept risks pertaining to all General Insurance
products and services marketed by COLFIRE. 
The applicant will also be required to professionally and effectively represent
the Company, analyze data/market activities, recognize trends and make
recommendations on strategies and products.

The Person:

The applicant must possess the following:-

• University Degree, ACII or General Insurance qualifications, or a minimum of three (3) years work experience in General Insurance.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Insurance qualifications and Customer Service Training is considered an asset.

The incumbent must also have good problem solving and decision making skills, and
be able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced
environment.
