POSITION PROFILE
This position will be responsible for developing marketing programs targeted to retailers, wholesalers and distributors that distribute company's products to consumers, will coordinate and implement marketing programs that increase their company's brand presence and market share, and improve customer satisfaction. Contributes to the Company’s goals and objectives and improves market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance.
KEY RESULT AREA
In conjunction with the Sales team and Brand Managers develops channel strategies and implementing the associated plans.
Leads the development of the Trade Marketing Strategy to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories. Develops, executes, all programs designed to increase presence and ultimate take-away.
Implement appropriate processes for effective collection, collating and analysis of market research data and provides accurate reporting and forecasting of marketing position and issues.
Provides effective leadership and guidance to team towards ensuring understanding of organizational goals and compliance with corporate and client requirements.
Effectively supports the development of team, through the identification of developmental opportunities, and continuous assessment and monitoring of team performance.
Ensures trade compliance with company's pricing, packaging and branding policies and programs, linking marketing strategy with sales execution.
Actively contributes and supports the development and growth of the company's non-financial objectives and works collaboratively to support peers.
EDUCATION, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
4-5 years progressive Trade Marketing experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
Experience in managing multi-site warehouse with direct supervisor reports.
Undergrad level qualifications in Marketing.
