BACKGROUND 

TISI is a world leader in providing Non-Destructive Testing products and Mechanical services to heavy industry. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Team Inc. which has combined the services of Heat Treatment, Non-Destructive Testing and Mechanical Services. 

Team sought to solidify its business in North America, and for several years focused solely on the US and Canadian markets. As that market grew, it also became apparent that additional opportunities were presenting themselves in other areas of the Americas. In 1991, Team Cooperheat-MQS opened in Mexico with the vision that expanding throughout North America would support our long-term growth objectives. 

As a company we recognized the need for Team Cooperheat-MQS to be a global company. Team Cooperheat-­MQS recognized that the demand for our products and services was expanding and evolving outside of North America. In 1993 Team Coopcrheat-MQS undertook further expansion in the Americas by opening an office in Venezuela. In 1996 Team Coopcrheat-MQS opened in Trinidad. In August 2005 TCM was acquired by Team Industrial Services Inc, subsequently the name was changed to TISI Trinidad Limited.
