JOB OPPORTUNITY - Sales Manager

LOCATION: Sales and Marketing Department – Head Office Arima

JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Manager will have overall accountability for managing a dynamic sales team, establishing and achieving sales goals and developing sales strategies to maximize market share. The incumbent will be responsible for all activities associated with maximizing sales and profitability of product ranges in various categories, discovering optimum distribution and customer service and developing new customers.

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  2. Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  3. Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  4. Collaborates with GM to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  5. To develop a sales strategy and plan to meet the organization’s monthly/annual sales quota.
  6. To maintain a strong customer service relationship with customers during the production, delivery, installation and post installation periods
  7. Partner with the relevant function heads to create a strong customer service focus across the consumer sales function and ensuring that the customer is central to all activities and decisions.
  8. Manages performance level within the department through training, coaching, mentoring and corrective disciplinary action.
  9. Manage the performance of staff through completion of regular mid-year and annual performance reviews.
  10. Strengthen sales force capability through building necessary skills including technical, competencies to meet customer needs.
  11. Partner with Senior Management team to identify sales challenges, determine sales goals/objectives and design initiatives to align the Company with its objective; articulating clear plans for achieving these.
  12. Ensure the timely execution of all marketing/sales initiatives:
  13.  Maintain knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading sales and customer strategies while identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.

  1. Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills
  3. Sound analytical and problem solving skills
  4. Must have an excellent track record in sales and lead generation.
  5. Must be able to execute sales from introduction through to contract.
  6. Must be able to work to deadlines and work as part of a team. 
  7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  1. A Diploma in Sales, marketing or Management or Associate Degree in Business
  2. A minimum of (5) years progressive sales experience  in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of qualification and experience
