Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; research and analyzing sales options; develop list of potential customers.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Follow up on sales leads
  • Work in conjunction with marketing sales support as well as management to establish a communication path with the customer to make sure sales opportunities for products services.
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, competitors, market activities, pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising technique.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature

 

 

 

Preferred Skills

  • The Sales Representative should possess presentation skills, client relationship, negotiation, meeting sales goals, creativity, sales planning and motivation for sales.
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Oral expression, comprehension and communication
  • Telephone skills and customer focus

 

Qualifications and Experience/Skills Requirements

  1. English Language
  2. Clerical
  3. Customer and Personal Service
  4. Passes in CXC examinations at least Five (5) O’Levels including English and Mathematics.
  5. Certificate in Project Management and any other related educational training.
