Sales Associate- Grand Bazaar

J&K Signature Styles a women’s professional clothing retail chain is seeking to recruit persons to fill the position of Sales Associate at our GRAND BAZAAR & PORT OF SPAIN BRANCHES

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers with products, displaying, promoting and tagging merchandise and participating in the stock in take process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helps customers by greeting them and executes sales assistance in accordance with company sales and customer service standards.
• Directs customers by escorting them to racks, counters, tables, showing merchandise, suggesting items, advising on style, choice, fit, colour, price and accessorizing as necessary.
• Advises customers by providing information on fabric, new products, current fashions, sales and promotional items, displays and rewards programmes.
• Assists customers with final selections by offering suggestions and opinions, demonstrating effects of alterations and building customer confidence in the product.
• Displays merchandise by stocking shelves, racks, counters and tables, ensuring that items are correctly displayed and organized. Participating in end of day replenishment.
• Participates in stock intake process, counts, sorts, tags, arranges and price items according to pre-determined standards and requirements.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by checking and clearing changing rooms, sorting and re-hanging merchandise and assisting with maintaining the general cleanliness of the outlet.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) GCE /CXC O’Level subjects, including Mathematics and English language or a combination of qualification and experience will be considered.
• One (1) years’ experience in a similar position. 
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Salary: TT $15.00 per hour plus commission
