Procurement Specialist

Procurement specialist involve in supplier selection, negotiation, etc

Responsibilities

1. Driving sourcing activities for Site services, local produced Site materials, IT HW & Systems, partnering and "Business Services"
2. Co ordination of supplier evaluation, assessments, development and continuous improvement activities (cost, quality, process, lead time, service) with available resource within specific commodity team
3. Secure reuse of solutions/common suppliers
4. Participate in pre-sales reviews
5. Forecasting of supplier base needs for future sales projects
6. Understanding the project and business requirements and communicate them to the delivery organization
7. Ensure back-to-back support for customer requirements in contracts
8. Monitor and follow-up KPI's decided
9. Execute sourcing for unique requirements for projects (as required)
10. Project related vendor management (as required)
11. Participates in tenders and negotiations to optimize value to the business
12. Initiates and implements improvements with the business, which results in added value.
13.  Qualifications: University degree in Economics, Business Administration and/or Engineering

Requested competence: 

1. Minimum three (3) years of experience working in purchasing or procurement within a project environment.
2. Commercial skills (business planning, contracting)
3. Negotiation skills & general understanding of commercial contracts (back-to-back protection etc)
4. Understanding of delivery process and risk management
5. Problem solving / Conflict management
6. Communication, Networking, Influencing and Analytic skills
7. End customer focus
8. Fluency in English and Spanish
