To manage all operational aspects of the company (such as Volumes procured and supplied including fuels & lubricants; Depot, Road Transport, Capex & Opex, Facilities, Joint Ventures supported, Contract Ownership, Staff).

Mian responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all Supply & Distribution activities are carried out in accordance with Group & REJL standards and guidelines
  • Coordinating the supply of product with Government agencies and REC to ensure product availability at all times
  • Managing the transit activities (import/export, customs clearance)
  •  Managing the distribution installations, and operational interfaces with the JV and depot
  •  Managing Road Transport Policy and activities
  • Collaborating with Western Caribbean Engineering Manager on capital expenditures.
  • Managing Opex in order to optimize unit cost per volume delivered
  • Managing stock levels of all products to optimize working capital
  • Ensuring that all operational activities are carried out and facilities are operated in a safe and efficient and economical manner.
  • Be the focal point for investigation of accidents / incidents within the division
  • Participating in operations projects
  • Managing the preparation and execution of Capex projects in Distribution, Retail, C&I and Corporate
  • Responsible for driving the division to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
  • Providing timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the division
  • Collaborating with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the business infrastructure, and processes, to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
  • Providing project support for Retail, Commercial and Depot Managers
  • Developing and maintaining good relations with all statutory and related organizations, contractors, and suppliers
  • Fulfil all service level agreements with COB (Retail, C&I, Fuels, Lubricants, Chemicals) in order to maintain and develop the customer base
  • Participating in EMT for the overall development of the Company, and implementation of business assurance/compliance processes.
  • Managing all HSSE matters linked to Operations activities
  • Negotiating relevant contracts with outlined scope as determined by the Managing Director.
  • Ensuring relevant company policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Conducting annual appraisal of subordinates, developing training options for closing identified competency gaps, and ensuring that appropriate succession plan is in place
  • Coaching and developing Operations staff in order to raise professionalism and competence level
