Marketing and Experience Officer

The Marketing and Experince Officer responsibilities include assisting with and liaising with the marketing manager to track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
  • See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics.
  • Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
  • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
  • Build a social connection between Express Fitness and its members.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned on occasion to meet business imperatives.

 

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Management Studies or related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
