Marketing Analyst

To coordinate the execution and analysis of trade & non- specific research and provide meaningful insights/recommendations that improve the marketing decision making process

Job Objective: To coordinate the execution and analysis of trade & non- specific research and provide meaningful insights/recommendations that improve the marketing decision making process

 Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast volumes and report sales within agreed tolerances for our brands as well as  for competitor products.
• Execute the demand planning process and ensure appropriate actionable outputs
• Acquires as directed all necessary materials for the successful implementation of marketing research projects while providing timely and objective feedback to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Coordinate, maintain and analyse up to date business relevant information e.g. consumer research, insights, competitor activities etc. that enable well informed  decisions and accurate and timely business reporting

Professional Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Business/Management Studies, Economics, Marketing or related field from a well-recognised/accredited University
• 1 -2 years experience  in a fast paced Trade Marketing & Distribution or Brand Marketing environment
• Strong Project Management, MS Excel and Analytical skills
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies (will be asset)
• Proven ability to proactively exploit Marketing Insights tools and methodologies
