To assist with conducting routine predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment (Pumps, Compressors, Rotating equipment, HVAC system, Packaging equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
•Assist in locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in  
 operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing 
 instruments and communicating with operators.
•Provide assistance in the removal of defective parts by dismantling devices; 
 using hoists and hand and power tools.
•Learn to operate various metalworking tools.
•Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance measures.
•Adhere to and enforce all safety rules of the Company during the  
 performance of his/her duties.
•Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
•Complete inspections of offices, laboratories, factories with Maintenance 
 Team Lead.
•Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel 
 and follow safety protocols.
•Perform any other related duties incidental or consequential to the above- 
 mentioned functions as determined by management.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
• MIC-IT Industrial Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• At least five (5) CSEC / CXC ‘O’ Levels including English and  Mathematics 
• Certification in Welding from a recognised institution
• 3 years’ Experience in a similar position 
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• Must have attained second year of NSDP Training Programme.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Capable of working on a shift basis.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Must be a team player and be able to communicate well with others.
