Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a successful incumbent for the position of Maintenance Manager.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Salary : TT$19,000.00

Objective:

• Control the budget for the maintenance department
• Ensure the efficient operation of the system and maintain all equipment in good operating condition according to manufacturer’s instructions and the best operation practices.
• Implement and follow up of "administrative systems": quality system, maintenance administrative system, training and planning.
• Ensure continuity and equipment availability in the operation of the facility.
• Prepare required technical reports.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the all maintenance activities at the facility, including but not limited to the following:

• Control the assigned budget to produce treated water at a determined cost.
• Prepare maintenance reports.
• Follow up and control work orders.
• Prepare maintenance programs and personnel training.
• Prepare annual budgets for his department.
• Compliance with all safety standards and monitor compliance of these.
• Monitor order and good housekeeping.
• Control corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Supervision of maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with operations personnel in accordance with the plant needs.
• Maintain a stable operation of the treatment plant.
• Coordinate shutdowns for major maintenance or special activities.
• Create technical reports.
• Participate in quality, safety, environmental and all improvement programs.
• Implement and conduct corrective actions.
• Implement process improvements.
• Detect and eliminate any unsafe conditions and unsafe acts during planning.
• Coordinate activities to investigate accidents and incidents.
• Document, implement and improve Quality system.
• Participate in the implementation of the management maintenance system.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare materials requests, consumables and service contracts of his area.
• Maintenance of Company Vehicles.

The candidate is expected to be available at all times, i.e. after hours, weekends and public holidays, to address any emergency situations, which may arise.
