Job Description
Manages key trade customers through the development and implementation of account strategies and plans.
Managing customers in your area (Route list/sequential to be provided which must be continuously updated)
Achievement of all relevant performance targets, Sales, distribution efficiency, staff performance
Ensure 100% sales coverage and achieve relevant sales targets.
Establish a regular visit schedule for each outlet in your area.
Actively increase the penetration of all brands with customers
Clearly communicating the company’s commercial objectives for developing increased volume in your area
Analyze and interpret sales and distribution information and recommend solutions to address anysales and distribution gaps
Coordinate all merchandising and promotional activities in the area including placement of signage, sell in promotions and merchandising “Execution Excellent”.
Provide a positive interface between the customer and the company and establish a solid working relationship with the trade and Merchandising staff in your area
Prospecting and new customer development in your area.
Sell-in of new and existing products to the trade
Manage your collection of Accounts receivables
Individual competencies
At least 2 years experience as a Key AccountRepresentative in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) organisation, preferably one that has incorporated a trade channel approach
Strong written and oral communication skills as well as negotiation and influencing skills
Intermediate – Advance computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite of applications)
