Junior Purchasing Officer

The Junior Purchasing Officer, working in consultation with the Purchasing

Co-ordinator, will assist with the procurement of products on a timely basis in keeping with Company policies, established standards, procedures, practices, and controls; track orders and maintain updated records of products purchased, delivery information and invoices.

Qualification, Experience, and Skill:

·       A first degree in Business Administration, Management Studies, or            equivalent qualification

• A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a similar capacity within a

multi-branch operation

• Knowledge of purchasing procedures for both overseas and local markets would be ideal.
• Working knowledge of import, export, freight, and shipping documentation procedures

• Exposure to quality control and accounting procedures, and inventory management
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Good analytical and negotiating skills.
