Title: Junior Marketing Assistant / Graphic Artist

Job Profile:

The Junior Marketing Assistant / Graphic Artist will be required to act as a reliable marketing assistant with excellent graphic design skills; assisting in support and execution of all marketing campaigns and strategies implemented by the Marketing Manager. In addition, the Junior Marketing Assistant / Graphic Artist will be required to convert these marketing strategies into print and web campaigns by producing advertising, catalogs, packaging, create email blasts, web banners, Power Point presentations and more.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Writing and maintaining content and providing monthly updates to the company website(s).
• Producing newsletters and distributing via email.
• Design and develop creative sales tools
• Respond to marketing inquiries on a timely basis
• Assist with the coordination of tradeshows, internal company events, showroom design & maintenance.
• Help to gather market data and competitive information
• Collate and replenish sales materials when required
• Perform administrative duties as required by the company
• Any other duties, as assigned

Skills & Specifications:

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Graphics Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator).
• Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective project management skills.
• Copywriting skills and should be able to rework technical content for a wider audience.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction
• Build excellent working relationship to attain goals.
• Work collaboratively as a team member to meet or exceed team goals.
• Be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
• Should be able to deliver creative and innovative thoughts and ideas.
• Communicate excellently both orally and written
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) GCE O’ level, CXC orCapepasses, including Math and English.
• Must be proficient with computers - MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Graphics Suite
• Web Design Skills an asset
