Job Summary:

The Inventory Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the effective and effecient execution of all activities in the warehouse, and activities involving direct interface with operations or management. He/she is responsible for the Inventory employees and warehouse - for the safety and security of all materials stored in the warehouse, and for the effective and efficient movement of materials as directed by operations or management.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills essential to Job Functions:

• Easy to contact, communicate and work with. Exhibits a sense of urgency when necessary.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to issue and explain instructions.
• Ability to direct, coach, support and delegate as individual team members may require.
• Working knowledge of computer systems mainly Peachtree input, retrieval and use.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Understanding of the proper use of Work Orders, priorities and schedules. 
• Experiential knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Knowledge
• Ability to work in a team environment, fully supporting the goals and objectives of the Inventory Department

Required Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:

Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Basic problem solving skills associated with software applications used is expected. Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.

Peachtree Accounting Software, MS Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook),

Training and/or Education:

Inventory Management

Required Experience:

Materials handling and supervisory experience commensurate with duties and responsibilities of the position (minimum of 3 years experience)
