To direct the development and delivery of comprehensive Human Resource programs for the effective management and utilization of personnel across the entire organization.

Human Resource Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and update of the Organizations’ policies and process; enforce Company policies and procedures
  • Develop the HR portfolio of strategies, plans and initiatives designed to deliver the Corporate Strategic Objectives
  • Develop budget for the HR Department
  • Develop the Manpower Plan for recruiting, placement and internal movement of human resources
  • Determine the Recruitment and Selection methods and approaches to be used for positions internally and/or externally
  • Determine the Training and Development Programs/Portfolio designed to maintain professional and technical development and to promote employee career and personal development
  • Develop, implement and oversee the Organization’s succession plan
  • Oversee the planning, monitoring and appraising of employees through the design and development of a comprehensive key performance indicators (KPIs) and Performance Management System
  • Lead organization development and change management initiatives across the organization
  • Oversee Employee assistance and wellness programs
  • Establish structures for employee rewards and recognition
  • Devise strategies for employee retention and monitor the on-boarding program
  • Oversee employee benefits and compensation programs
  • Enforce the Organization’s Disciplinary procedure
  • Manage/oversee the Retrenchment and severance package for employees
  • Identify potential organizational risk and develop strategies to mitigate the potential risk
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in all HR functions and services to recommend changes, improve the quality of service delivery and maintaining continuous improvement
  • Monitor internal practices and processes to ensure legal compliance with applicable national and international regulations and laws
  • Manage performance and conduct Performance Appraisals for junior Human Resource personnel supervise team members
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Assist employees with grievances and other queries
  • Perform all other relevant duties as assigned

 

 

 Qualifications and Experience Required: 

  • BSc. in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources of which at least 3 years must be at a managerial or senior supervisory level.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Specialized HRM Diplomas and Certificates would be considered an asset 
  • HR Strategic Planning 
  • Working knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conflict management and problem solving skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Must demonstrate diplomacy, mature judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
