Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department, the management and development of the human resource capital for the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Responsible for human resource activities from recruitment to exit
  2. Responsible for developing and implementing Human Resource systems, policies and procedures that support the company’s goals
  3. Handles disciplinary matters in accordance with good Industrial Relations practices
  4. Manages and administers performance management system to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the company
  5. Works with senior managers to determine skill gaps and advise on training and development programs for all levels of staff and administers follow-up assessments
  6. Maintains and updates records, policy manuals and employee handbooks
  7. Oversees the maintenance of and updates employee files and records
  8. Manages human resources to facilitate continued improvement, the accomplishment of company goals and foster a service culture 
Qualifications and Experience
  • First Degree Human Resource Management
  • Certification in Industrial Relations 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant Human Resources methodologies
  • Able to display tact and diplomacy
  • Able to foster team spirit
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and human relations skills
  • Administrative skills and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
