Established Manufacturing and Service Company is seeking a dedicated and highly-motivated Individual to join our team.  The Human Resource Manager will be required to advise on matters relating to human resource as well as guide and manage the overall provision of human resource and administration services, policies, practices and programmes that support the Company’s strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor remuneration and benefits administration.
  • Ensures legal compliance of statutory requirements, preparing remittances, maintaining records and advising on relevant legislative changes.
  • Partner with Managers to coach and discipline employees, scheduling management meetings with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors to ensure the application of disciplinary measure is consistent with good industrial relations practices.
  • Investigate employee complaints/issues, maintain records, and represent the organisation at hearings.
  • Maintain staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policy and procedures.
  • Maintain records for statutory, regulatory and audit purposes in both paper and electronic format.
  • Actively participate in collective bargaining negotiations.

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management with a minimum of five (5) years’ generalist experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • A minimum of three (3) years at a senior level in Human Resources
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite -  Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint  and  any  HRIS
  • A suitable combination of Qualification and Experience may be considered
  • Familiarity with ISO systems

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, employee relations.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and labour laws.
  • Effective time management and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Quick learner with ability to grasp both formal and informal training
