Field Supervisor I – Completions

The Field Supervisor I – Completions is responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the operations of the Completions Department.

EDUCATION

• Minimum of five (5) CXC O’Level passes (including Math, English and a Science Subject) AND Two (2) A ‘Level passes OR
• Technical Certification in an applicable field of study (EEET, Petroleum Engineer Diploma, etc.) OR
• Equivalent Industry relevant certification in a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE

• At least seven (7) years’ experience in Pumping / Gravel Packing / Stimulation / Wellbore Cleanup / Fracturing operations and offshore experience.

ACCOUNTABILITY

• The Field Supervisor I - Completions is directly accountable to the Operations Coordinator - Completions and reports functionally to the Business Unit Manager - Completions.

FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Capable of fully performing the function of Service Engineer III when and where required or requested.
• Ensure that Quality Control procedures are strictly adhered to during maintenance and field operations.
• Ensures that all jobs are executed safely and efficiently, while maintaining good housekeeping practices.
• Investigates and resolves all customer complaints related to products and services offered by the department in a timely manner.
• Implement procedures to ensure the proper handling, delivery, and storage, of materials used on jobs and ensures compliance.
• Maintains close relationships with the Purchasing Department in ensuring all products (local & foreign) are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensures that all service equipment is calibrated and ready to perform jobs at all times and maintain proper documentation of calibration schedules and records.
• Possesses and exhibits in-depth knowledge of all applicable Stimulation/ Gravel Packing / Wellbore Cleanup/ Filtration / fracturing techniques and approaches.
• Capable of executing well fracturing operations under supervision.
• Capable of supervising installation of pumping equipment on stimulation vessels.
• Capable of conducting site visits and making recommendations to ensure successful job execution.
• Ensures full execution of all Gravel Packing-related jobs in accordance with agreed designs and in consultation with client/s.
• Performs any other related duties required by management to ensure the successful execution of job.
