Facilities Technician

Performs technical and non-technical building maintenance work.

• Make periodic visual inspections of buildings/facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report deficiencies to Management.
• Troubleshoot, diagnoses and resolves equipment issues, make necessary repairs, arranges for repairs or feedback management to facilitate corrective action.
• Carry out inspection on equipment to ensure it functions properly.
• Carry out all checks as outlined for daily maintenance checklist.
• Carry out plumbing, electrical, carpentry and air condition repairs as required:
• Ensure that all preventative maintenance is completed with vendors as directed by the Facilities Manager
• Monitors the performance of contractors and vendors engaged in services to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
• Provide Facilities Manager with reports on outstanding and required works to be carried out.
• Carry out checks and or repairs at the other properties when requested by the Property Manager
• Carry out minor building repairs and painting as required.
• Assist management with checking and analysing queries by tenants and provide timely feedback or resolution.
• Ensure that all work carried out on the facilities are done with adherence to proper Health, Safety and Environment standards, and to the Invaders Bay Tower contractor’s guidelines.
• Any other duties as requested by management
