Experience/Qualifications

 

Technical

Basic knowledge of building trades e.g. plumbing, carpentry, masonry and electrical repairs. A certificate from a recognized trade school will be an asset.

Education Level

Must have completed secondary level education.

Experience

At least 1 year’s experience in a similar position.

 

 

Job Objective:

 

To provide technical and non-technical assistance to the Facilities Manager and Client building as assigned.

 

Main Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

 

  1. Ensure the well being of self and others in accordance with SERVUS’ Health and Safety policy.

 

  1. Bring to the attention of the Facilities Manager any potential problems discovered on routine inspection of facility, informing him/her of any delays in completion of task.

 

  1. Undertake daily/weekly round of all instructed areas and record readings on checklists and report any defects daily.

 

  1. Exercising proper trade skills to ensure the completion of each repair to a high- quality trade standard and in a timely manner.
